About Julie Timmerman

Ice Cream in the Bathtub is Julie Timmerman’s debut children’s picture book! Her love for children’s literature started nearly twenty years ago when she began her career as a private nanny.

Now, as a mom to two young children, she has access to unlimited material to create books for a lifetime! She hopes her story celebrates the magic of ordinary moments that have a funny way of becoming a most treasured childhood memory.

Julie lives in Michigan with her husband, their son and daughter, and a very stubborn Bernese Mountain Dog. When she’s not outnumbered by toddlers, she enjoys a quiet cup of coffee on her front porch, capturing lifestyle photography, and studying to be a registered nurse. Fun Fact: Julie’s favorite ice cream is Cookies & Cream in a waffle cone!
